One of the scary things i can see happing in the future is, lets say some black-hat or crime gang want to bring down amazons cloud severs or the shopping site.
Well then they hack a navigation system or the general OS of a car firm, like future ww wagons or that kind.
result moving ip addresses that can initiate a BIG Ddos attack.
And as far as a know of dos migration tactics that scenario is properly be a nightmare.

Been talking some some people the last couple of days. And must say i am surprised on how low just normal security measures is on peoples mind, things like keeping windows updated and automatic updates on the virus scanner
In my opinion.
all ways keep you virus scanner up to date , and maybe buy a pro version of it
all ways keep windows/gnu-linux/osx up to date that is some very basic things that can keep some script kiddies out of your system.

Well at the moment my c programming is having some trouble but that is only me being a new guy.
On a other things that is on my mind, is the surveillance of governments and other.
In my opinion normal people should have the right to surf the net, without being tracked without saying yes to being tracked, some shopping sites is ok for me.
But other things there should be a click ok or agreement that one should say yes to.
One of the way i found to stay more anonymous on the net is a tor project
Which is part of what is now known as the deep net.

well a long time again

Well been busy, with really trying to nail down my interests.
And at last i think i got it down, how many times have i said that.
Right now i am looking into setting up a server farm for a test set up for security work.

So my question is why does the secret services need info on every single person in the given country.
Instead of focusing on the bad guys and focus on those.

Well on the malware / virus side things look a bit slow, no big new incidents to report on.
On other thing i changed to visual studio pro 13 and windows azure, so for now my main dev platform is
windows 7 and up.
LOL at me i am always changing stuff up, but yeah one day i will settle down and focus

Seems like the silverlight bug / exploit is still open. Which is pretty bad, as far as i can read it is not that bad but still a open way to exploit. On other things in my life, is still mining bitcoins both online and on my pc, which is super slow but progress is progress. And ofc i am still reading up on the c language, and is waiting for a couple of books to get here. So pretty much the same

Think it is time to take some decisions again. The security field is moving so fast that there is no room for sleep, so maybe it is time to quit gaming and focus my life on 1-2 things. And one of em is definitely gonna be network/ sever security, and maybe some programinng fixing bugs on security issues, so time for learning c++ and maybe c.
